After the Venezuelan opposition leader won this year's prestigious peace award for her "dedicated campaigning advocating for political freedoms", Donald Trump reacted displaying exactly the type of Maga-nanimous reaction people could expect. After tirelessly conducted a campaign of self-promotion to guarantee he received the honor personally, the president immediately took acknowledgment for the Venezuelan activist's triumph, cataloged his own personally declared and regularly dubious successes in the field of world conflict resolution and attacked the authority of the selection panel who made the decision not to grant the medal, cash prize and diploma to him.

Around the world, the most doubtful of observers were aligned in asserting they understood exactly who would be winning the Pretend Peace Prize, with certain individuals even going so far as state completely unfounded claims that the judicially determined and cheating-at-golf individual being discussed might even have compelled Infantino to invent it simply to compensate for the leader's perception of unfairness at missing out on the authentic award.
