The former president's Granddaughter Gets Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete has impressive online following

Kai Trump can count on plenty of well-known supporters when she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses numerous golf courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play tight competitions," she stated.

Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially told me to play and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions recently and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.

"And he's a superior person. He suggested me to go out there, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

She'll challenge several most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials commented that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, specifically among younger fans.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and just introduced her own apparel and wellness brand.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
