Shot-stopper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers could have been six behind at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Crucial performance, rose to the occasion and demonstrated top ability. Excellent keeping to earn them a 2-2 draw. Defeat might have ruined their whole season.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for top performer. People will talk Arsenal's squad. He is the top performer by a country mile.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): You'd have been a mad supporter to say 'Murillo will score and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got huge prices on that. He performed brilliantly. He is turning into a force. He proves to be a tough opponent. I'm happy to see him playing like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him several occasions earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties because he was making mistakes. Yet now he's been a monster. He's been great strength and powerful and looks elegant. It looks like he's found a perfect fit.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a full-back, leaning towards a attacking-minded offensively. He's been a excellent acquisition for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them discovering another star out of nowhere? I thought after selling Pervis Estupinan it was odd but Brighton know more than us.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they are selected for the shared purpose. Their clubs triumphed, everyone will talk about the goalscorers, but lacking these players the sides struggle. They perform brilliantly. They break up play, they join the offense.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. A lot of followers, like my child, expressed skepticism whether he was the man to get them over the top. Three goals in the north London derby and supporters now wish to honor him permanently of him. Goals, composure, he dominated. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it is quite challenging to leave him out. My view was he began well the term, In my opinion he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could join to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he appears to have adapted well. Two superb finishes obviously against Leeds helped his club from behind. He made the impact.

Forwards

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he seemed lacking his usual standard. It seemed he'd lost a yard. However, incredible. Words fail me. He shone. Phenomenal in his approach and through his scoring.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He plays well, usually better as a substitute, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he has to play. He squandered a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. Yet possessing the mental fortitude to put himself in difficult situations and score twice was remarkable.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He steps in and beats Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. It might have been several more for Forest and few would dispute.
